I am a criminal defense lawyer practicing in the state courts in Northern Virginia.

I have more than 11 years of exclusive criminal defense experience because I was a public defender in the City of Alexandria for 11 years. During that time, I have represented hundreds of clients against thousands of criminal charges.

I am skilled in handling a variety of case types and I am experienced, knowledgeable and aggressive.

My focus is obtaining the best outcomes in my clients’ criminal cases considering each case’s unique circumstances. I guide my clients through the criminal justice system so that they understand the process and the potential risks and rewards of each decision.

I have tried many misdemeanor and felony cases to a jury verdict and have had great success. I believe that a robust motions practice contributes to positive outcomes in my clients’ cases.
